Northeastern India — M5.7 Quake Near Bhutan

At around 11:06 p.m. on June 7, 2026, a magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck near Bhutan, with its epicenter approximately 252 km from parts of Assam. Tremors were felt across a wide area including West Bengal, Sikkim, and Assam.
