Milano Cortina 2026: Opening Ceremony Just Days Away

The XXV Olympic Winter Games, officially known as Milano Cortina 2026, will be held from February 6-22, 2026, across Lombardy and northeastern Italy. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday, February 6, at Milan's San Siro Stadium, themed "Armonia (Harmony)."

Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Russian and Belarusian Olympic Committees remain suspended. As with the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Russian and Belarusian athletes at the 2026 Games can compete as "Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN)" without national representation.
